Well here we are, at the end of the road with a brand new album from yours truly, Blisterhead.
Welcome to Via Casilina, a street in Rome where a small punk rock band from
Sweden lost it all and hit the freeway a.s.a.p. to avoid all stop signs.
Well here we are, at the end of the road with a brand new album from yours
truly, Blisterhead. Via Casilina is the album you've all been waiting for.
This is the brilliant follow up to 2003 years full length album Punk Royale.
This time we're proud to present no less than 16 songs with the usual hard
hitting choruses and hooks. Two feet on the dance floor and one hand in the
air is the recipe that made Via Casilina the more grown up, political
awareand of course better dancer of an album then it's little brother Punk
Royale.
Once again released by KOB Records and Mad Butcher Records. But that's not
all folks; since you last heard about us we have also released a seven inch
split record with our brothers in crime Swedish band Voice of a Generation
on, that's right, Red Angel Records.
The last year and a half we have played a lot of shows in Sweden, Norway,
Denmark, England, Wales, Italy, France and Switzerland. Those shows we're as
always with Blisterhead brutal evidence of the strength that can come from
four guys who grow up with The Clash, The Ramones and the belief that rock´n
roll can make a difference. If you've been were we've been you'll
understand. Starting September 2004 Blisterhead will once again hit the
road, playing as many shows as possibly so you won't miss the new exciting
sound of Via Casilina.
Blisterhead has toured and played with many good punk rock acts, Randy,
Bombshell Rocks, G.B.H, Toy Dolls, Los Fastidios, Strebers, The
(International) Noise Conspirazy, Ex-Cathedra, Misconduct, Charta 77 and
many more......
