28-08-05 10:06 MBR 099 NO RESPECT UNADJUSTED DoCD/DoLP By MIKE Times aren´t getting better, the weather still sucks, the political developments are a catastrophe and the beer costs more than it did last year. A lot of reasons for recording some brand new stuff. The new material is more angry than our last CD cause we are really mad at what we see around us. There is more Punkrock in our music now, but still we have a lot of offbeats and melodies for your ears. We just can´t do without it... Some things stayed the same: we are the same six old farts making up a strong rhythm package and a brass section, singing lovely tunes and voicing our anger at the same time. We have put a lot of effort in this one, we even practiced before entering the studio. If you enjoyed the old songs, you´ll surely like our new stuff. No Respect from Göttingen Germany started off as a pure Punk Rock band in 1985. Today they’re playing a mixture of Ska and Punk. During the time they published two CD’s and several other recordings.They played tons of gigs including a tour through Italy and one through Spain. The Brass section consists of a Sax, trumpet and a trombone, the rhythm section consits of the well known members bass, drums and guitar. The lyrics wich are dealing with political and also personoal and emotional topics are very important to the band. These lyrics are combined with a powerful but never unmelodical sound the reason which are making NO RESPECT a band worth listening to.
